WELCOME TO CALESSE CRUISING THROUGH LIFE

I never stop moving. Whether I am out soaking up nature while running on a picturesque trail, or chasing after my inquisitive and energetic first grade students, movement is a huge part of my life. I am a competitive age group long-distance runner, participating in distances from the 5k up to the marathon, as well as SwimRun, rock-climbing, hiking, Ultimate Frisbee, and kayaking. If it involves moving your body and being outdoors, I’m in! I also teach first through third grade at a Montessori school in Northern Virginia, which I love. My students challenge and engage me in new and surprising ways daily. I am exploring what it means to exist in this world as a runner, a teacher, a wife, a friend, and a human being in a way that is honest, open, genuine, and generous to the greatest extent possible.
